Since its establishment in 1902, the Spanish team has always played in the famous all-white kit – aside from 1 year where its home strip included black shorts (that effort was abandoned just 1 year later). Given that the team is perhaps the best club in the world, it should be no great shock that their strip is so different to all the rest of them – a point that the Real Madrid president undoubtedly likes. After all, some of the world’s top players have put on the iconic kit.

Soccer kits come in all various forms and some are more identifiable than others. Look at AC Milan for instance. The red and black stripes are interchangeable with the spectacular Italian club. As a matter of fact, many different clubs around Europe (and the globe) play soccer in the red and black stripes, but none of us will think of any of them before the Italian team. A fact that the new AC Milan owner is likely very pleased with. Though not the force it was previously, the club continues to be one of the top 10 football clubs in the world, and the red and black colours have been utilised by the club since it was first founded in 1899. They were apparently picked to represent the players' insatiable enthusiasm (with the red) and the opponents' fear to challenge the squad (with the black). There is no doubt soccer supporters will ever mistake the red and black stripes for being any other squad.

One of the most supported football clubs in England, a very pleasing fact for the Chelsea FC owner no doubt, plays in royal blue.
